RSE Pastoral Support – Part Time (20 Hours)
We're seeking a Part-Time RSE Pastoral Support (20 hours per week) professional to support our RSE workers in Kerikeri with care, empathy, and cultural understanding. This role is ideal for someone wanting meaningful work with flexibility, while still being deeply connected to people and community.
About the Role
Working alongside the wider RSE team, you'll provide pastoral care and programme support to RSE workers, helping them navigate daily life, wellbeing needs, and programme requirements. While part-time, this role plays a critical role in ensuring our RSE workers feel supported, safe, and informed.
Some flexibility will be required, including occasional out-of-hours emergency support as part of an on-call roster.
Key Responsibilities- Work as part of a two person team, supporting the full time RSE Pastoral Support
- Provide regular pastoral check-ins with RSE workers
- Support access to healthcare, insurance, and essential services
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Assist with passport logistics, inductions, and compliance activities
- Support accommodation inspections, cleaning, and maintenance needs
- Liaise with RSE Team Leaders and Programme staff to identify and escalate issues
- Participate in an on-call roster for emergency support
