Roofer - Waikato

About the role:

• Stellar Recruitment currently have multiple Roofer positions available in the Waikato region
• Full time, permanent work with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week
• Your ordinary hours of work will be 40 hours per week normally worked between 6:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday. However, you may be required to work the occasional Saturday.
• $27 to $30 per hour

What you need to be successful in this role:

• You must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience. You must

• Knowing, understanding, and complying with Health and Safety rules and regulations

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Transporting and loading/unloading roofing materials
• Lay new roofing materials including sheet metal, tiles, shingles.
• Inspecting roofing for damage and undertaking repairs as required
• Spraying and treating roofs and buildings to seal and protect them
• Cleaning rooftops by removing leaves, ice and other debris
• Installing insulation materials underneath rooves
• Installing solar panels on rooves
