About the RoleWe are seeking a mental health nurse with experience, knowledge and skills working with tangata whaiora who experience addiction and related challenges to join our dedicated and skilled interdisciplinary team based in Hamilton.If you are a registered nurse with experience working with tāngata whaiora and their whanau impacted by mental health and addiction, hold relevant postgraduate qualifications, and are committed to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi, we invite you to join a multidisciplinary team that values the unique strengths each discipline brings to tangata whaiora care.

About the TeamCommunity Alcohol and Drug Service (CADS) provides support and services for adults (18 years and over) and whanau with complex alcohol and other drug concerns, often alongside mental and / or physical health co-morbidities.Here at CADS we work in partnership with tangata whaiora to understand their concerns and following a comprehensive assessment, develop a treatment plan that is agreed upon with both the tangata whaiora and their whanau.We are a team that values professional development and believe that tangata whaiora deserve care from clinicians who are both skilled and compassionate.
