We are looking for a Practice Care Assistant for a fixed term contract of 6 months working 32 hours per week from July 2026

Team Medical is a locally owned practice working in association with Green Cross Health. We are an integrated family health centre passionately providing a full range of GP Care to our enrolled patients and Urgent Care for accidents and urgent medical needs to our community.As a key health hub to the Kapiti Coast our GP services typically operate Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm. Our Urgent Care services operate 7 days a week from 8am - 10pm. We also offer full X-Ray facilities on site.

Primary Care Assistants work closely with nurses to ensure high-quality patient care, handling clinical and non-clinical tasks. Responsibilities encompass maintaining clinic efficiency, demanding strong communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability, and teamwork.
**This is a fixed term position working 32 hours per week across Monday to Friday**

- Consistently accurate and a quick learner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong command of verbal and written English
- Ability to build strong rapport with team members
- A physically fit person who is confident, friendly and approachable
- Basic computer skills including MedTech Evolution
