Programmer/ Detailer - Joinery Manufacturing - Christchurch

We are seeking an experienced Programmer/ Detailer to join our client, high-performing and supportive production team. If you're detail-oriented, have a background in joinery, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed joinery programming and documentation
  • Liaise with CAD designers to resolve design queries and improvements
  • Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout
  • Schedule production based on project plans and timelines
  • Assist with procurement, including stock accuracy and material orders
  • Work with internal teams to ensure smooth production flow
  • Support hands-on manufacturing when required to meet deadlines
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with H&S regulations
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience in programming/detailing for joinery manufacturing
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • A willingness to assist in hands-on joinery work when needed
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microvellum
  • Understanding of joinery production processes
  • Clean full NZ driver’s licence
