What you will do
You will work alongside our Regional Manager and site team to complete a variety of demolition projects. We require someone who is highly skilled and motivated to produce the best quality of work possible utilizing a range of excavator sizes.Initially you will be working in smaller diggers from 1.2 – 2.5 ton but you will be required to operate up to a 33 ton excavator.
What we are looking for- At least 3 years’ experience operating an Excavator with a variety of attachments
- Previous experience in excavation work across both civil and demolition projects
- Current WTR licence
- Able to lead, motivate and direct a small team on site as required
- Versatile and able to perform a wide range of tasks
- Commitment to delivering high quality products and services
- Able to complete basic maintenance and care for equipment
- Commitment and engagement in Health and Safety practices in the workplace
- Methodical and organised in your approach to work
- High attention to detail
- A keen team player who is reliable and highly motivated
- Proven strong work ethic with the ability to complete tasks autonomously
- Able to travel around New Zealand as needed
