About Us:Bracey Electrical is a well-established electrical services provider specializing in industrial systems, as well as offering electrical solutions for commercial and residential properties across Auckland. We are known for our commitment to safety, quality, and reliability, and we are now looking for a skilled and fully qualified Electrician to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for industrial, commercial, and residential projects.
- Conduct electrical inspections, identify faults, and perform diagnostics and repairs.
- Ensure all electrical work meets New Zealand’s electrical standards, including compliance with NZECP 34 (Electrical Code of Practice) and the latest regulations.
- Work on industrial electrical systems, including machinery, control systems, and automation.
- Collaborate with clients to provide expert advice on electrical safety and system upgrades.
- Respond to call-outs and perform fault-finding and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including certificates and compliance documentation.
- Ensure the safe use of tools, equipment, and machinery in line with NZ health and safety standards.
- A Fully qualified Electrician with a current New Zealand Electrical Registration and a Practicing License (EWRB) and had a license for more than 5 years
- Experience in industrial electrical work
- Experience with commercial and residential electrical work is also highly valued.
- Knowledge of New Zealand’s electrical safety regulations, including NZECP 34 and the Health and Safety at Work Act.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Full New Zealand driver’s license.
- Additional certifications, such as EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report), PAT testing, or PLC programming.
- Fork lift and Truck licence
- EWP and Working at Heights qualifications
