Key Requirements:
- At least 6 months or above of relevant experience.
- A Level 4 or higher relevant qualification.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage seasonal teams and workflows
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily orchard operations.
- Manage the operation and maintenance of horticultural machinery and infrastructure
- Ensure team compliance with health & safety, pesticide use, and environmental regulations
- Conduct site inspections, track crop health, and implement improvements
- Train staff in standard horticultural practices and safe equipment operation
- Maintain accurate records of labour, production targets, and maintenance activities
- Liaise with farm managers to report progress, issues, and resource needs
