Riviera Prenail is a purpose-built, semi-automated manufacturing facility in Silverdale that produces prefabricated timber frames, trusses, and structural components for the building industry. As part of a proudly Kiwi-owned group, we combine innovation, precision, and a great team culture to deliver high-quality solutions to our trade partners across Auckland.

With demand growing and a second production line now live; we're expanding our team.
  • About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position (40-50 hours/week, Monday to Friday) based entirely in our Silverdale workshop. You'll be part of a close-knit fabrication crew responsible for cutting, shaping, and assembling timber parts using both hand tools and automated machinery.

You'll work on trusses, beams, wall frames, and other structural timber components—producing prefabricated units that are ready for transport and installation by others.
  • Hourly Rate: $25.00–$32.00 (depending on experience)
  • Location: Riviera Prenail – Silverdale, Auckland
  • Reporting to: Production or Scheduling Manager
  • What You'll Bring
  • 3 (three) or more years' experience in timber joinery, carpentry, or frame & truss fabrication OR a relevant New Zealand Level 4 trade qualification (NZQF), which meets the requirement for ANZSCO Skill Level 3.
  • Strong understanding of timber grades and fabrication methods
  • Ability to read technical plans and specifications
  • Skilled in operating nail guns, drop saws, presses, and automated cutting tools
  • Familiarity with CNC and jig systems (advantageous)
  • A reliable work ethic and strong focus on health & safety
  • Full Class 1 NZ Driver's License
  • Your Day-to-Day
  • Cut, shape, and assemble timber joinery components in a workshop setting
  • Fabricate wall frames, roof trusses, beams, and posi-struts
  • Use hydraulic and pneumatic press systems to assemble products
  • Work from specifications and drawings to ensure accurate production
  • Maintain tools and equipment and contribute to a safe work environment
  • Complete basic stock and quality control documentation
