Mechanic

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity, offering stable hours, competitive pay, and a supportive working environment.

You will be responsible for carrying out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of petrol and diesel vehicles, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety at all times.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in petrol and diesel vehicles
• Carry out servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and steering repairs
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues
• Conduct vehicle inspections and road testing where required
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Ensure all work complies with workplace health & safety standards
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding repair requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience as a Petrol/Diesel Mechanic
• Relevant trade qualification preferred (but not essential for highly experienced candidates)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship

hold valid legal working rights in New Zealand

• Two (2) vacancies
• Competitive hourly rate: NZ$30–NZ$35 per hour
