Trainee Aluminium Fabricator
GA Aluminium is a family operated business based in Woolston which is looking for a new team member. We pride ourselves in producing quality Fairview brand aluminium windows and doors for a range of local builders and customers.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated trainee fabricator to join our team. This is an entry level positon where the right person will be trained in fabrication skills while assisting our experienced team with day-to-day workshop tasks. This role is hands-on and suited to someone who enjoys practical work and wants to build a long term career in fabrication.
What the role involves:
- Learn to fabricate aluminium windows and doors
- Glaze completed frames in factory
- Load and unload trucks
- Using tools and machinery under supervision
- Supporting the team with general workshop duties
What the role involves:
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Willingness to learn and take instruction
- Practical mindset and interest in hands-on work
- Physically capable of manual workshop tasks such as lifting, standing and working with tools
- Previous work history demonstrating reliability
- Ability to work well in a team environment
