About the RoleAs a Community Mental Health Nurse or Clinician at the Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (iCAMHS), you will provide specialist care, expertise and leadership that ensures services to clients are provided in the most effective and evidence based method.
This includes direct care and delivery as well as supporting other health professionals in their management of care delivery. There are opportunities to lead innovative practice and provide support, guidance and education alongside a range of appropriate mental health interventions.

If you have the following skills, attributes, and a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others, we would like to hear from you today.Provide specialist intervention for people to optimise recovery and quality of life as well as case coordination.Competent in all facets of assessment, holistic care and multi-disciplinary team work and have demonstrated ability to work with all ethnicities, particularly Māori/Iwi.To provide community mental health care based on current best practice and collaborative working within the interdisciplinary team.Ensure all inter-disciplinary referrals within the team will be performed with consent from whaiora and their whānau (where applicable).Work collaboratively with complementary internal and external partner organisations.About the Team/Service/LocationOur team of mental health clinicians work closely together as a multi-disciplinary team to provide mental health assessments and treatment to tamariki (children), taiohi (young people) and whanau (extended family).

The successful candidate should also be able to work efficiently both independently and with other clinicians in our skilled multi-disciplinary team.
