Aluminium Welder/Fabricator - Te Awamutu
A long-established and busy manufacturing company in Te Kauwhata is seeking a skilled Aluminium Fabricator to join our growing team. Specialising in the production of high-quality gates and accessories, we are experiencing strong demand for our products and services and are expanding our workforce to meet this growth.
About the Role:As an Aluminium Fabricator, you will play a key role in the fabrication and occasional installation of custom gates and accessories. We are looking for motivated individuals with strong fabrication and welding skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication of aluminium gates and associated components
- Assisting with site preparation and on-site gate installation
- Coordinating and managing stock requirements for each project
- Transporting materials and finished products to job sites
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in general welding and metal fabrication
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to quality workmanship and high standards of finish
- Must be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or hold a valid visa with the right to work in New Zealand
