Excavator Operator

Groundfix is a national award-winning specialist civil and geotechnical contracting firm renowned for high quality work and technical expertise. We require an Excavator Operator who has experience in geotechnical and civil construction. The role is Auckland-based.

• The role will largely consist of excavation operation but will also require operation of other plant and equipment plus other hands-on tasks from time to time
• Maintaining, managing, and servicing machinery and equipment.
• Maintain high Health & Safety standards and ensure others on site adhere to good Health & Safety practices.
• Ensure any actions that may impact the environment are reported to your supervisor and/or acted on immediately.

• Broad experience operating excavators in the civil construction industry
• Full, clean Class 1 driver license with WTR endorsement
• New Zealand Residency or valid work visa
• Be physically fit
• Demonstrate a good track record in technical delivery and paperwork
• Good attitude toward Health and Safety
• Good communication skills

• First aid and site safe/construct safe qualifications preferred but not essential
