Community Support Worker
Job location: Dunedin, Otago
Hours: Casual and Permanent Part-Time Position (Weekday shifts from 3pm to 10.30pm and Weekends between 7am and 10.30pm)

Our work is undertaken alongside disabled people, their family/whanau, and supports the individual’s needs in a person directed, creative way, making a difference in the community.

About you:We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate the following personal skills and attributes, and professional skills and knowledge:
- initiative, is reliable and flexible.
- A positive attitude and a talent for developing supportive interactions.
- Ability to relate well to a diverse arrange of people.
- Experienced in supporting disabled people with high and complex needs would be a distinct advantage.
- Strong connections to the community.
- Ability to work independently, but also in a team environment
- A willingness to work with people we support to achieve their goals.
- On the job learning, ongoing support to achieve L3 and L4 Health and Wellbeing Certificates.
- A valid, Full New Zealand Driver’s Licence
