We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Teacher to lead our Under-2’s team.
This is a special role — you won’t be doing it alone. Our under-2 area has two rooms and you will be supported by a dedicated Room Leader, supportive management, and involved senior leadership.

About the Role
You will lead the under-2’s teaching team across both rooms, with the support of a Room Leader, ensuring:- high-quality care and education for infants and toddlers
- strong respectful relationships with whanau
- mentoring and guidance for teachers
- consistent routines and calm environments
- leadership that supports wellbeing (for children and teachers)
This is a leadership role suited to someone who enjoys guiding others, building team culture, and creating a nurturing space where children feel secure and teachers feel valued.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified and registered ECE teacher
- Has leadership experience (Head Teacher, 2IC, or senior teacher)
- Has strong knowledge of infant and toddler care and development
- Can mentor and grow others with a supportive approach
- Communicates clearly and respectfully
- Values relationships and teamwork
- Brings warmth, humour, and positivity to the team
