Company:

This role is with a well-known and respected charitable organisation that provides essential community support across New Zealand. They are seeking an experienced payroll professional to ensure smooth and accurate processing during the holiday period.

Role:

As Payroll Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the full payroll function across a medium to large organisation. You'll ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time, manage leave calculations, and support compliance with payroll legislation.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end fortnightly payroll processing
  • Maintain employee records and resolve payroll queries
  • Oversee PAYE, KiwiSaver and leave entitlements
  • Support reporting and system checks
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Payroll Manager or Senior Payroll Officer
  • Strong understanding of New Zealand payroll legislation
  • Proven experience with payroll systems
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Ability to start by 1 December and commit to the full 10 weeks
