Embroidery Machine Operator

Arrow Uniforms is on the lookout for an Embroidery Machine Operator to join our team on a full-time basis in our brand-new, purpose-built offices in Silverstream.

In this role, you will be overseeing the application of embroidery, digital prints, badges, and all other forms of branding, while ensuring high quality workmanship and timely production as part of the wider Logistics operation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operate embroidery machinery to create unique embroidery designs on garments.
  • Complete orders in a timely and accurate manner to achieve completion deadlines.
  • Ensure client's orders are readied, framed and packaged before the date of delivery.
  • Manage inventory, maintained stocks of needles, threads, beads and other embroidery materials as required for completion of client orders.
  • Set up the configuration for machines.
  • Set up the coloured threads in appropriate sequence, required to produce the desired client print.
  • Hoop garment and fabric/backings accurately.
  • Select the correct type and colour of threads/needles/materials.
  • Tidy up any loose stitching and trim interfacings prior to labelling and packaging completed goods for distribution.
About you
  • A dynamic self-starter that can hit the ground running
  • Experience with embroidery machines
  • An eye for detail and colour
  • Basic Computer literacy
  • Full-time availability for 42.5-45 hours per week.
  • Standard 8am to 5pm work day available, or set your own within a 5am to 8pm range!
  • Experience in garment manufacturing or sewing is a plus.
