We’re on the lookout for a driven and experienced leader to head our Heat Pump Department. About the Role
As the Head of Department, you’ll be responsible for leading our heat pump team across quoting, job scheduling, staff management, and gear procurement. You’ll also be expected to assist with hands-on electrical work as needed, especially during installations or when providing technical support on-site.This is a practical leadership role with a strong mix of office and field work.
What You’ll Do- Lead and manage the heat pump team, ensuring high performance and team cohesion
- Handle quoting and job scoping for residential and light commercial projects
- Schedule and coordinate installation jobs from start to finish
- Order equipment and materials efficiently, managing supplier relationships
- Carry out some electrical work as part of installations or service work
- Ensure high quality standards are met on every job
- Contribute to the growth strategy and help drive new business
- Be the go-to expert for all things heat pump within the business
- Qualified and registered electrician (current practicing license required)
- Proven experience in the HVAC or heat pump industry
- Strong leadership skills and a background in team or project management
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Confidence in quoting and job coordination
- Organised, motivated, and ready to grow a team
- Comfortable doing hands-on electrical work when needed
