We are currently looking for someone to join our friendly team on a fixed term basis.
Our Retail channel is the face of 2degrees in the community, overseeing a robust network of 54 stores strategically positioned nationwide. Retail Assistants are the face of our brand! They interact with customers, assist with their needs, and keep our stores looking fantastic. This role is perfect for those who love engaging with people and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
To take on this role, you’ll need to have a confident, well-presented and mature manner. Previous industry experience is not necessary, but you must display excellent communication skills with different customer segments and a strong interest in technology.
As Retail Sales Consultant, you’ll report to the Store Manager and Regional Manager. You will be responsible for your individual sales targets and completion of delegated operational tasks. Full on the job induction and ongoing training is provided to support any successful full time applicant.
This position includes a base wage with various great monthly sales performance bonuses. You must be available to work on a roster basis which will include weekend work, so flexibility is essential.
Some of the tasks required but not limited to are:- To provide an outstanding level of customer service by assisting customers in locating merchandise and answering a variety of questions to fulfil their requirements. Demonstration of key features and benefits of the products and services.
- To achieve and exceed individual, team and store sales
- Customer complaint / issue management
- Set-up merchandising displays, with product, signs and posters. Ensure the store and displays are maintained in a clean and tidy state.
- Handle cash and card payments on the POS system, and maybe responsible for end of day balancing sales/receipts.
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge on the company online systems and manuals, and maintain a working knowledge of products and services and with pricing.
- Open to new ideas and proactive about up-skilling and putting forward ideas for improvements with the Store Manager.
- Ensure day to day store operations and security are maintained as per the guide lines and procedures. A friendly awareness of the “goings on” within and around the store is paramount.
- Provide on-time Reporting as requested.
