Restaurant staff - Chefs

We are seeking restaurant staff for our restaurant located in Rodney, Auckland.

Chefs

• Oversee staff in kitchen
• Preparing and presenting food to the highest standards
• Setting up and working on the workstation
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking
• Ensure all food and kitchen items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients
• Developing and designing menus
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
• Making sure that the food safety protocols are followed by the staff
• Be proactive in making improvements to the menu and kitchen operations

The ideal applicant must have at least two -year experience as a chef or a cook or have a professional qualification in cookery – preferably grill style cooking

We will offer a pay between $27 to $32 per hour with guaranteed 30 hours per week.
