Canterbury Kerb and Concrete Ltd specialise in machine laid kerb & channel as well as concreting for residential sub-divisions, driveways and large commercial projects.

CKC Ltd has some exciting projects currently under construction and due to commence. As a Kerbing Foreman, you will be responsible for the operation of a Kerb & Channel team with pouring, placing and finishing of a range of kerbing and flat placing concrete projects.

Your experience in a diverse range of concrete works, excellent problem solving skills and commitment to promoting health and safety in the workplace, will enable you to positively contribute to the growth of the business.

Reporting directly to the CKC Operations Managers you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and laying kerbs
• Setting out string lines
• Operating a kerb machine
• Mixing slurry, finishing/ trowelling machine laid kerb.
• Boxing, preparing subbase and pouring of driveways/ footpaths and commercial slabs
• Team leadership and client communications

To be successful in this role, it is essential you have the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 3yrs Experience preparing and laying kerbs
• Minimum 3yrs Experience in general concrete construction - site set out, boxing, prepping, placing and finishing
• Some experience operating heavy machinery would be an advantage.
• Physically fit and can complete manual labouring tasks
• Full Class 1 drivers licence. Class 2 is preferred and will be a role requirement.
