Pharmacy Assistant – Full Time
McNaughton’s Pharmacy | South Dunedin
We’re on the lookout for a friendly, and reliable retail assistant to join our tight-knit team at McNaughton’s Pharmacy in South Dunedin. One of our valued assistants is relocating, and we’re looking for someone who can step in and help keep our busy, community-focused pharmacy running smoothly.
- Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:45pm
- Location: 351A King Edward Street, South Dunedin
- Small, supportive and welcoming team
- On-the-job training and a chance to grow into a Pharmacy Technician role
- Regular loyal customers and strong ties with the GP next door
- Busy but fulfilling work environment
- Pharmacy is currently undergoing a modern renovation facelift
- Assist customers with health and product advice
- Handle sales transactions and operate POS/EFTPOS systems
- Maintain clean and well-stocked displays
- Manage stock, expiry dates, and storage
- Support the pharmacist with day-to-day front-of-shop tasks
- Prior retail experience is essential
- Great communicator with strong customer service skills
- Well-organised, reliable, and eager to learn
- Enthusiastic team player who thrives in a busy environment
