Structural Steel Site Rigger - Christchurch

VIP Structural Steel is a locally owned and operated business specialising in the design, supply, fabrication, and erection of structural steel for commercial and residential projects. We are seeking applications from experienced Structural Steel Site Rigger.
The skills and experience required are:
- Minimum of 3 years structural steel site rigging/erecting experience
- Site erection in accordance with relevant specifications and standards
- Rigging and crane signals
- Ability to set heights and levels
- Correct use of single phase welding machine, grinders, mag drill, dyna drill and other power and battery operated tools/welding optional but advantageous.
- Correct use of hydraulic equipment
- Exceptional level of health and safety
- A high standard of workmanship and a good attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Be energetic and physically fit, have a good attitude, be motivated, reliable and punctual, and work well in a hardworking team
- Carry out site erection to relevant specifications
- Work pro-actively to improve customer satisfaction, quality and safety
- Works in accordance with VIP Steel Ltd policies and procedures and maintain a safe workplace at all times
- Permanent
- Monday-Friday
- Normal working hours are 40-45 hours a week.
- Location of the job is Christchurch and out of town
