The Hangar is Rotorua Airport’s beautiful new café, serving travellers and locals with delicious, fresh food and barista-made coffee every day. We’re on the lookout for a Cabinet Cook who shares our passion for great food and good vibes.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in the kitchen and brings creativity and care to everything they make. You’ll be responsible for preparing and presenting a range of cabinet food – hot and cold, sweet and savoury – with room to contribute your own ideas and seasonal specials.From breakfast bites to hearty lunches and sweet treats, we offer our customers food that looks and tastes amazing.
What We’re Looking For:
- A love of food and pride in presentation
- Experience preparing cabinet-style food
- Creativity and confidence to contribute to menu planning and ideas
- Ability to work independently while being a supportive team player
- A positive attitude and commitment to a happy, smooth-running kitchen
- Reliable and comfortable with early starts
- Available to work five days a week, including at least one weekend day
