Position: Full-time - This is full-time permanent POOL position working 80 hours per fortnight. As a POOL staff member, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring continuous support by covering gaps due to annual leave and training. While your shift pattern will vary, you'll receive your schedule of 80 hours per fortnight at least six weeks in advance.

Flexibility is key for this role, as you must be available to work both AM and PM shifts, weekdays, and weekends.

Skills and Experience:

  • A Passion for Tangata/ People: Be patient, friendly, and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate, and genuinely connect with people
  • Experience: Must have 12 months minimum experience working in the Health Sector
  • Empathy & Understanding: An understanding of Enabling Good Lives principles.
  • Practical Skills: Carry out personal cares, showering and grooming
  • Team Player: Professional, honest, and a reliable team-player with a flexible mindset.
  • Driver Licence: A Full NZ Driver Licence is essential, as driving a MASH van will be part of your role.
  • Relevant Qualification (or commitment to obtain): A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or a commitment to working towards this qualification, which will be funded by MASH Trust.
