Retail Manager - Caltex Service Station

Caltex Hyderabad is centrally located with a large footprint Service Station in central Napier. We have a position vacant for a Retail Manager to lead a vibrant and fun loving team. Caltex Hyderabad offers fuel, LPG, Cafe, Food-To-Go, Groceries, Carwash and other services for convenience. We are seeking a candidate who has experience in Service Station and/or convenience industry with acumen in developing leadership and skills in customer service industry. Experience and knowledge in the following will be an advantage, however full training will be given. Applicant should be:
- NZ Citizen, Residence or with Open Work Visa
- experience in operations of 24/7 Caltex Service station
- LPG certification
- experience in leadership and in with a team
- proven skills in team building
- ability to delegate tasks and include relevant team members in decision making
- knowledge associated with the fuel industry
- knowledge in Infinity & Triquestor (or similar) point-of-sale and back office IT systems
- experience in retail associated with convenience stores
- proven merchandising and customer service skills
- ability to maintain and build relationship with suppliers
- proven skills associated with health and safety including food handling
- be competent in emergency procedures
- ability to conduct training
- good written and verbal communication skills in English
- knowledge of products relevant to the industry
- IT Literacy
- competent in Barista machine and Cafe type operations
- passion for food to go category
- strategic thinker to analyse data in retail environment and make decisions and apply changes accordingly
