They manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including identifying qualified RMOs, coordinating interviews, handling compliance and credentialing, and negotiating contracts with the possibility of undertaking Personal Assistant (PA) work to complement this role.About the Team/Service/ LocationThe RMO unit operates as a dedicated team of medical professionals, coordinators, and administrative staff who work collaboratively to ensure efficient scheduling, compliance, and support for Resident Medical Officers, enabling seamless healthcare delivery within the hospitalFor more information on living and working in Tairawhiti, Gisborne click hereAbout youAs a Resident Medical Officer Recruiter, you will consider yourself a recruitment and administrator superstar with strong experience in providing excellent administrative support, communication and outstanding organisational skills.
They should have advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications. Knowledge in project management and data analysis will be a bonus. Previous experience in similar roles is desirableExperience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action.Proven customer service skills.Experience with Medical Council of New Zealand policies or processes is highly desirable but not essential.Significant previous experience managing recruiting processes in a large organisation or relevant recruitment agency experienceWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
