Automotive Mechanic (Heavy Diesel)
We have a great opportunity within our Invercargill Workshop team for a qualified Automotive Mechanic.

Our well-equipped Invercargill Workshop is situated on site at the Invercargill Depot and covers maintenance and repairs on our Urban, Schools, SESTA and Charter vehicles.
Automotive Mechanic position:
We are seeking a motivated, qualified mechanic with heavy diesel experience to join our team of experience Mechanics in our Invercargill workshop. This role would suit either a seasoned mechanic or someone new in their career who is looking for the opportunity to grow within a small, tight-knit team.
Major functions:
- Ensuring that servicing and repairs on our modern fleet of cars, vans and buses are carried out to a high standard.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Keeping accurate records and ensuring compliance is met.
- Meeting health and safety obligations.
- Mentoring apprentices where applicable.
Skills/Experience required:
- Great team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to self-manage and work to a high standard.
- Full class 1 and 2 license (class 4 desired but not essential).
- Trade qualified Automotive Mechanic (Heavy Diesel experience desired but not essential).
