Air Conditioning Service Technician

Climate Control Services Limited is a well-established and highly regarded HVAC Contracting and Service company that is 100% New Zealand owned and operated. We are based in Albany on the North Shore in Auckland.
We are currently looking to add a New Zealand qualified Service Technician to our service team. The role will involve assisting with maintenance and service tasks for air conditioning systems across the greater Auckland region.
The primary responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance and service work on air conditioning and ventilation systems for a range of commercial and residential clients in the Auckland area. We envisage that the successful candidate will eventually work independently within our experienced team of service engineers once they have completed a satisfactory probationary period.

We will provide necessary induction and ongoing training to the successful applicant. Responsibilities will include responding to service calls and breakdowns as needed, including participation in a one in five-week after-hours roster.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package, which includes a company vehicle, phone, and uniform.
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:- Hold a New Zealand Trade Certificate qualification in HVAC or Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
- Have a minimum 3 years of trade-related work experience in New Zealand since obtaining a Trade Certificate.
- Hold a current New Zealand Registered Electrical Service Technician Licence.
- Hold a valid (clean) full New Zealand Driver’s Licence.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Have a tidy and professional appearance.
- Be self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Be a New Zealand Citizen or have current New Zealand residency or be a work permit holder.
- A full-time permanent position.
