Senior Automotive Technician

We are looking for well experienced and enthusiastic senior automotive technician to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and servicing mainly European made brands. This is a full-time permanent position and guaranteed 40 working hours per week.

• Excellent understanding of diagnosing, repairing and servicing European made cars.
• Ability to use modern diagnostic tools and other equipment
• Working with Hybrid and electric vehicles
• Working with computer-controlled engine management systems
• Ability to write clear and logical job notes.
• Stick to safety procedures and the workshop rules.

• NVQA level 4 qualification and proven at least 5 years’ experience in the industry. If you have less than NVQA level 4 qualification and solid experience and knowledge will consider after an interview.
• Proven experience and excellent knowledge in diagnosing, mechanical repairs and maintenance in BMW, Audi, VW, Mercedes, Volvo, Land Rover will be an added qualification. Experience in other brands will consider case by case.
• Experience in dealership workshops will be an added qualification
• Knowledge in Electrical repairs and diesel engines will be an added qualification.
• If you have WOF or COF authority will be an added qualification
• Reliance, determinant and high standards of work
• Ability to work as apart of a team and independently as well
• Must have NZ driver’s license
• NZ citizens, Permanent residents or valid work visa holder

• Full-time permanent position
• $32-$40 hourly rate and incentive (depends on the efficiency, knowledge and the experience)
