Your new role:As the Lead Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role within a major programme delivering a new lending origination platform across Australia and New Zealand. This is a leadership role where you will guide and mentor a team of Business Analysts across both geographies while remaining close to delivery through hands-on analysis and support.
You will work closely with product owners, initiative leads and SMEs to ensure high quality analysis, clear requirements and strong collaboration across multiple squads. The role offers a unique opportunity to influence the way Business Analysis is delivered across the programme while helping uplift capability within the team.
Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts across Australia and New Zealand
- Provide hands-on BA support and guidance to junior team members
- Review requirements and ensure high quality analysis and documentation
- Identify scope gaps and support delivery planning across multiple releases
- Work closely with product owners and initiative leads to sequence workflows
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and SMEs across the organisation
- Support vendor engagement and solution delivery
- Help uplift BA capability and promote consistent processes across teams
- Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst within banking or financial services
- Strong experience working on lending platforms or lending origination systems
- Experience delivering large scale transformation programmes
- Demonstrated leadership experience across teams or multiple geographies
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Excellent requirements gathering, documentation and traceability capability
- Experience mentoring and developing Business Analysts
- Vendor engagement experience within complex technology environments
