Production Manager – Food Manufacturing
Location: Queenstown, New Zealand
Full-time, Permanent (30 hours minimum hours)
Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations
Monitor output quality, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain equipment
Coordinate with supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance teams
Maintain records, reports, and continuous improvement processes
Identify areas for efficiency gains and implement process improvements
Report production performance and KPIs to senior leadership
Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum 1 years’ experience in a food manufacturing production environment and 4 years’ experience as a Production Manager or relevant role or Level 7 bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
Proven team leadership and supervisory skills
Strong understanding of food safety and quality compliance (e.g. HACCP)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues

About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations in our food production facility. The role involves managing production workflows, supervising a team of 6, maintaining quality and food safety standards, and ensuring efficiency across shifts.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and manage daily production schedules to meet targets
Supervise and support a team of production staffEnsure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations
Monitor output quality, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain equipment
Coordinate with supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance teams
Maintain records, reports, and continuous improvement processes
