Doubtless Diesel Performance (DDP) is a locally owned 4x4 and diesel performance workshop in the Far North. We specialize in:

Diesel servicing and repairs

Performance tuning and ECU remapping

Installation of 4x4 accessories and upgrades (suspension, snorkels, bull bars, etc.)

Diagnostics and fault finding on modern diesel systems

We’ve built our reputation on trust, quality workmanship, and helping locals get the best out of their vehicles – whether that’s reliability for farm work, or more power for 4x4 adventures. With a growing customer base and expanding workshop, we’re looking for an experienced and qualified Mechanic to join our team.

The Role

This is a full-time, workshop-based role in Coopers Beach. You’ll be part of a small but skilled team, working on a wide range of diesel vehicles including Hilux, Ranger, Triton, BT-50 and more. Your day-to-day work will involve:

Performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel vehicles

Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

Installing aftermarket 4x4 accessories and performance parts

Supporting performance tuning and upgrades in-house

Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

Communicating with customers and the team to deliver the best service possible

What We’re Looking For

Trade-qualified Mechanic (essential)

Minimum 5 years’ workshop experience preferred (but open to strong candidates with less)

Strong diagnostic and repair skills with modern diesel systems

Familiarity with scan tools and electronic diagnostics

Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team

Great problem-solving skills and attention to detail

A positive, motivated attitude – reliability is key

Current driver’s license
