As a Community Work Supervisor, you will oversee and manage people serving community work sentences while they work on meaningful projects at schools, reserves, community groups, marae, and churches
  • whatever the community needs.Our Community Work Supervisors are responsible for the supervision of work parties, planning and organising projects, the development of work skills through pro-social modelling and coaching, ensuring records are accurate and complete, reviewing health and safety requirements, and ensuring the smooth operation of the community work centre.This is an exciting opportunity to develop a career and to make a difference.

Community work provides a platform for people serving community work sentences to gain new skills while giving back to community at the same time.

This is a part-time, permanent position based in Timaru, working 1 day a week (8 hours).
There is some flexibility to pick up some additional hours as operational needs require.

Ngā painga | The benefitsThe salary range for the role is $62, 048 (pro rata) per annum.

Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
