Warehouse Picker Packer - Night Shift

Warehouse Pick/pack/loaders - Night shift Bidfood Palmerston North is the leading Foodservice provider in the greater Manawatu area & covers a large geographical area, we have a great team & looking for a highly motivated individual to join our existing Nightshift team.

Our Nightshift team is responsible for the picking, packing, and loading of our customer orders for next day delivery - so are a vital part of our business, and finding the right people to join the team is our number one priority.

The successful applicant should:

Have a track record of reliability and clear communication

Be physically fit (regular heavy lifting in involved)

Have a team work focused attitude

Place importance on attention to detail

Have a positive approach to learning new skills

Have pride in accuracy and efficiency

Be able to get the job done without fuss

Be honest and trustworthy

Be comfortable working in cold environments - working in the chiller and freezer are part of this role.

Previous Nightshift experience is beneficial but not essential

What we can offer:

Set roster - 7pm start, Sunday to Thursday with rostered Fridays (roster negotiable for the right candidate)

40 hours a week minimum.

Nightshift allowance - nightly rate, increases after 6 months of employment

Your daily tasks will vary but will revolve around picking and packing customer orders, loading trucks, stock replenishment and all other general store duties.

Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
