2 x Indian Curry and Tandoori Cooks - Alexandra

Dasami limited is seeking two experienced Indian Curry and Tandoori Cooks to join our team in Cromwell, Otago. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes for our customers.

• Prepare and cook a range of Indian curries, tandoori dishes, and other Indian cuisine to a consistently high standard.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared in a safe and hygienic manner, adhering to food safety regulations
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
• Maintain a clean and organised work station throughout your shift
• Provide exceptional customer service and a great dining experience for our patrons

• Minimum one year experience preferably Indian Cuisine.
• Excellent knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, spices, and flavour profiles
• Strong time management and multitasking skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work culture
• Passion for creating delicious, authentic Indian cuisine and providing exceptional customer service.

Hours per week: 35 hrs / week.
