About The Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a CA-qualified professional to manage a portfolio of clients and provide high-level accounting and advisory services. Reporting to a Director/Senior Manager, you will leverage your expertise to ensure client compliance, drive financial strategy, and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for a diverse client base (e.g., companies, trusts, partnerships).
- Manage and advise on complex taxation matters and ensure full compliance with current legislation (e.g., GST, PAYE, Income Tax).
- Provide proactive financial advice and strategic planning support to clients to enhance profitability and growth.
- Review work and mentor junior accountants, contributing to the team's overall development.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for a professional with a strong blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills: CA accredited with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a public practice environment.
Sound technical accounting knowledge and a deep understanding of accounting principles (e.g., GAAP/IFRS) and tax laws.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities, with a meticulous eye for detail.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and confidence in client-facing roles.
The ability to manage time effectively, prioritize multiple projects, and meet strict deadlines.
A proactive approach, integrity, and a commitment to professional ethics.
