Experienced Forklift Driver

Cypress Sawmill is a long established, family owned and operated business in Waitoki, Auckland.
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Driver to join our busy team.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:- Operate forklifts to transport, stack and unstack timber and materials around sawmill yard and
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with care and precision, ensuring safe handling and accurate
- Work with a high degree of accuracy in confined spaces, requiring precise manoeuvring and spatial
- Support production operations by efficiently moving and storing goods, and assisting with
- Perform daily forklift checks, identify and report mechanical issues, and carry out minor
- Follow all health and safety protocols and contribute to a clean, well-organised work environment
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant forklift experience OR a relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification
- Strong understanding of forklift load handling and health and safety procedures
- Hold a current New Zealand forklift licence and full driver’s licence
- Physically fit and comfortable working in an outdoor, fast-paced timber yard
- Commitment to site safety and ability to follow site procedures
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Pay Range: Competitive, with a minimum and maximum rate of NZ $27 to $32 per hour.
- Hours: Mon – Fri 8am – 5.30pm.
- Guaranteed Hours: Minimum guaranteed 40 hours of work per week.
- Full time, permanent position.
- Location: Waitoki, Auckland.
