Warehouse Position Full Time- Hamilton Based

Established in 1977, TRS has grown to become the largest distributor of Agricultural tyres and wheels in NZ. TRS business activities span the entire spectrum of agricultural and industrial tyres and wheels.

Originally established as a small family business, TRS was first acquired by Hellaby Holdings in April 2003, Bapcor in January 2017 and Trelleborg Wheel Systems in July 2018. The latest acquisition in May 2023, along with the global Trelleborg Wheel Systems group, has been made by The Yokohama Rubber Co to create Yokohama TWS.

The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., based in Hiratsuka, Japan, is a global leader in the tyre industry and other rubber applications, such as conveyor belts, hoses and couplings, and fenders. With 860.5 billion yen in revenues (approx. 6 billion euro), The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. is a truly international group, employing over 28,000 people around the globe and operating in more than 120 countries.

TRS is the largest supplier of tyres to the agricultural and industrial sectors and are the only company in NZ to custom manufacture wheels for all agricultural and industrial applications. Our specialist manufacturing facilities allow us to manufacture wheels for anything whether it be a replacement wheel for a piece of construction or forestry equipment right through to wheel conversions for specialist farming applications such as specialty crops.

All TRS product is distributed through a nationwide reseller network including tyre resellers, tractor dealers and industrial service businesses.

We are looking to employ an individual at our Hamilton Branch with a background in one or both of the following industries – Tyres or Warehousing.

The role will include inwards/outwards goods processing, tyre & wheel fitting, container devanning and other functions in order to deliver a high standard of customer service, while demonstrating reliability, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, safe work practices and excellent workmanship.

Warehousing duties:
  • picking
  • shipping (including outbound packaging)
  • receiving
  • De-Vanning Containers
  • inventory checks
  • Experience navigating computer systems (ie. Email, Order processing, etc)
  • Doing wheel assemblies as per OEM requirement
  • Other duties as assigned
Key attributes required:
  • Reliability and a willingness to work hard
  • A positive can do attitude
  • Good time management - able to work to deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Mechanically minded
  • Physically fit and healthy
  • Health and safety conscious
  • Hold a full driver’s license
  • Have a current forklift licence
  • Will be required to pass pre-employment drug test
