This rolewill be working within the community and within our integrated model of care.Our CAMHSteam is currently looking for skilled and passionate mental healthprofessional. The new role is vital to the mental health of our children andyoung people across the West Coast as you will be supporting them through theirjourney along with their whanau.

This role will be working within thecommunity alongside our NGO partner Poutini Waiora and within our integratedmodel of care. There will be opportunities and support for professionaldevelopment and ongoing role development. Undertaking all components of case management, including: comprehensive assessment, risk assessment and management, recovery, and treatment planningProviding client-centred care, utilising evidence-based treatment strategies including, where appropriate, talking therapiesWorking Monday to Friday About YouNZ Registered Health professional as a Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or Physiotherapist.Excellent communication & relationship building skills, this is a developing role with the opportunity to develop and enhance the service provision and personal practice.Passion for child & youth mental healthFlexibility to work autonomously as well as part of a multi-disciplinary teamUnderstanding and application of the principles of the treaty of Waitangi, with a culturally safe and appropriate approach to practiceCommitment to ongoing professional developmentA strong understanding of Māori health inequity and Māori population needUnderstanding of contemporary approaches to mental health and wellbeingClean & full drivers licence as you will be traveling in DHB cars, this role encompasses the whole of the Westcoast Karamea to Haast.Working atHealth New ZealandHealth NewZealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for thepeople of New Zealand.
