Who is Arrow Refrigeration?

Arrow is a family-owned business with a close-knit team based on Auckland’s North Shore. We’ve been in the game since 1992, providing commercial refrigeration sales, service, rental and fleet management to a wide range of customers ranging from recognisable FMCG manufacturers to your corner dairy or favourite food truck.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on role with exposure across the entire business including some finance and reporting (working with a qualified CA) to become the go-to person for operations and logistics. You’ll assist with a variety of tasks, provide cover in the office when necessary, and support the wider team.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, based in our Auckland office and full training will be provided to the right candidate.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Handling our local and international freight, logistics and documentation.
  • Support with incoming service and sales calls and any subsequent scheduling.
  • Assisting our reporting and accounts functions, including month-end, AP, AR and customer invoicing.
  • Assisting with stocktakes and/or cycle counts.
  • Managing the day-to-day business supplies and equipment.
  • Supporting the Directors and wider team with admin and workflow coordination as needed.
  • Contributing to our team culture and continued business success.

Who we’re after

We’re looking for someone who is organised and adaptable, self-motivated with a positive attitude and can deal with multiple responsibilities in their stride. To be successful in the role, you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in operations, logistics, finance or office/business administration.
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • An ability to build good relationships with suppliers, clients, and colleagues.
  • Confidence working with technology and systems (e.g. Microsoft 365).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level.
  • Experience with MYOB ERP systems (beneficial but not essential).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and be fluent in English.
  • A problem-solving, can-do mindset and a willingness to take on new and varied tasks.

Why Arrow?

You'll be part of an established business that is growing with an exciting future. We offer on the job training and the opportunity to develop through exposure to finance, logistics, operations, warehousing and office administration functions with a pathway towards leadership in any of those areas.
