This is a challenging and rewarding role with your highly developed technical capabilities put to use on a wide range of technology including; HV & LV reticulation systems, emergency generators, power UPS, load shedding systems, commercial appliances, sterilizers, lighting, heating etc.
Key responsibilities:Health & Safety
- Exercises leadership and due diligence in Health and Safety.
- Adapting services to meet customer needs in a changing environmentPlanning short-, medium- and long-term resource planning.
- Manage personnel, materials and services budgets.Asset Management
- Ensures all work and work practices complies with legislative requirements.
- Leads, nurtures and develops the team to achieve their potential.

About the TeamThe electrical trades team forms part of the wider facilities maintenance team of around 33 trades, operations and support personnel.The facilities maintenance team ensures all hospital buildings, services and critical infrastructure are safe, compliant and fit for purpose at all times.
About youTo be successful in this role you will have:Full Electrical Registration (Inspectors Registration highly regarded)New Zealand Practicing LicenceAt least five years experience leading a trades or technical teamDemonstrated leadership and communication skillsStrong focus on H&SE, quality and continuous improvementCommercial acumenCustomer service skillsExperience in building services preferably in a health care / hospital environment.If youre looking to take the next step in your electrical career and work for an organisation that values your contribution and provides a great working environment, then wed like to hear from you.
