Experienced Joiner
Are you looking for a new opportunity in the joinery space? We are looking for an experienced joiner/cabinet maker to join our small Sayer Industries team based in Palmerston North.
You MUST be an experienced joiner or cabinet maker with several years experience, including installing. You must have an awesome work ethic, who can work without supervision and who pays attention to detail - close enough is not good enough for us!
Essential skills and requirements for this role are:
- Either have a relevant Trade qualification in joinery with installation experience or have been working as a joiner, without a formal qualification
- Able to read and interpret plans and drawings
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Carry out joinery work in the factory and on site
- Cut material to required size, different shapes and designs
- Ability to operate different machinery, power tools and hand tools
- Have own hand tools tools
- Be a team player and a good communicator
- Be willing and keen to learn new things
- Has the ability to work unsupervised
- A full clean Drivers License
- Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
