Matakana Estate is on the lookout for enthusiastic and reliable Front of House (FOH)staff to join our team. If you love great wine, hospitality, and working in a beautiful vineyard setting, we’d love to hear from you!

Front of House (FOH) – Wine Enthusiast & Customer Host

• Has a genuine love for wine and enjoys sharing that passion with others
• Has previous hospitality or customer service experience
• Can confidently talk about wine and engage with guests
• Is proactive, friendly, and enjoys creating memorable experiences for customers
• Is comfortable serving food and wine, taking orders, and assisting with tastings

Key responsibilities:

• Hosting wine tastings and sharing knowledge about our wines
• Providing excellent customer service and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere
• Running food and drinks, ensuring tables are well looked after
• Assisting with sales of wine and merchandise
• General FOH duties, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in keeping things organized.
