Job Description:

The role will include, but not limited to:

• Install and maintain tiled, sheeted or shingled roofing to create a weatherproof surface.
• Reviewing plans, specifications, and inspecting job sites to assess material needs
• Assembling and positioning ladders and scaffolding to access roofs safely
• Installing waterproof membranes or sheets over eaves for added protection
• Attaching roofing underlay using nails or staples to provide a moisture barrier
• Laying the first row of roofing materials accurately along roof edges and overlapping subsequent rows for proper coverage
• Measuring and trimming roofing materials to fit snugly around chimneys, vents, corners, and ridges
• Securing edge and ridge tiles with mortar for stability and durability
• Inserting roofing materials under pre-installed flashing and fastening securely
• Sealing exposed nails and vulnerable areas with caulking or flashing to prevent water penetration
• Other duties may be reasonably required

• At least 2 years relevant working experience with verified experience
• Relevant qualification or certificate is preferable but not a must
• Attention to details and a hard-working attitude.
• physically capable of performing heavy work be able to work overtime
• excellent work ethics and great time management passion for the industry.
• The successful candidate must not have any criminal convictions

• Job Salary : $30.00 – $31.00
• Full time: 30 - 50 hours per week
• Working place: Auckland Region
