Wine Beer and Spirits Retail Assistant
Regional Wines is Wellington’s leading independent wine, beer and spirits store and our small team of passionate drinks experts is looking for someone to join us who is fun, informed, eager to learn and willing to engage with customers.

The successful applicant should have a genuine passion for the drinks industry and also a thirst to learn about all the numerous drinks across our diverse and eclectic range. Being a team player and having an outgoing personality are also essential.
If successful, you will be responsible for recommending and selling delicious products to our loyal customers, keeping your product knowledge up to date, all aspects of merchandising and day-to-day store maintenance.
In addition to this, the ideal candidate will have the following.
Proven customer service and sales experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
WSET and/or Cicerone qualification.
Numeracy skills and basic computer literacy.
Good oral/written communication skills.
LCQ and a Duty Manager’s certificate preferred.
Full Driver's License.
Experience with social media and direct marketing.
Knowledge of Shopify and website backend, database management.
We are looking for full and part-time positions, and because it is a retail environment, you must be available regularly for weekends and evenings.
