Delivery Driver

We are now looking for dedicated and dependable Delivery Drivers to join our team and help us continue delivering excellent service to our community.

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting food products to customers in Queenstown and surrounding areas. You'll be expected to deliver fresh, frozen, and dry goods safely and on time, while ensuring the highest standards of customer service and food safety are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a company truck to deliver food products to local customers, including restaurants, cafés, retailers, and hotels.
• Ensure all food products are delivered on time, in the right condition, and at the correct temperature (ensuring proper handling of perishable items).
• Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude, assisting with any customer inquiries as needed.
• Adhere to food safety regulations, including proper temperature control, secure handling, and hygiene standards while delivering food products.
• Accurately complete any required delivery documentation, including invoices, receipts, and delivery confirmations.
• Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
• Load and unload food products, ensuring they are handled carefully.
• Report any issues, accidents, or delivery challenges to the supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle at all times.
• Assist with warehouse tasks when needed, including loading orders and preparing deliveries.
• Be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to accommodate customer needs.

This is a full-time role, with a minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed and maximum weekly hours are 60. The hourly rate is between $29.00-$31.00 per hour depending on the class of Drivers License and relevant driving experience. You must hold a valid NZ Driver's License (class 1 or higher), Please note, International Licenses are not valid for driving delivery trucks.
