Hamilton - Cafe Manager

We are seeking applications for the role of Cafe Manager based in Putaruru.

• Managing day-to-day activities.
• Cash flow management and reconciliation, and banking
• Undertaking Promotional activities.
• Staff Management including recruitment, training, coaching and induction plans for staff.
• Allocation of work to staff and supervision of their work.
• Ensure quality food, beverages and coffee presentation and hygiene.
• Maintaining customer satisfaction and handling any complaints or queries also ensuring safety and cleanliness policy followed by all staff.
• Stock management to ensure that stock is ordered in a timely manner,and appropriate quantities.
• Responsible to maintain records of stock levels and financial transaction.
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure inventory is up to date.
• Responsible for planning menus, requisitioning stock,materials,supplies or equipment.
• Ensure that the store is run in compliance with health and safety rules.

• At least 5 years of previous management, operations, and leadership experience in a café environment
• Experience leading both FOH and Kitchen teams and have a strong understanding of people processes.
• Minimum Level 7 or Bachelor's degree in Management.
• Barista experience and a Manager's licence is a MUST.

Must be available to work weekends, public Holidays’s and school holidays.
