The Role

We are actively seeking an experienced and qualified Mechanic to join our amazing team at our Timaru retail store. This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, across Monday to Friday, where you’ll be the expert and helping to drive our mechanical service offerings.

• Performing general and some specialised mechanical repairs and servicing on a variety of customer vehicles
• Diagnosing faults accurately and efficiently using testing equipment
• Conducting inspections to ensure all work meets rigorous safety and compliance standards
• Providing clear and professional explanations of repair work and recommendations to our customers

• A Level 4 Certificate in Light Automotive, or equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Mechanic, ideally within the NZ market
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent computer literacy and technical proficiency
• Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised
